A PNG stores every colour exactly, which makes files heavy. Most graphics, however, use far fewer colours than they could. The compressor reduces the palette to at most 256 carefully chosen colours with gentle dithering, then rewrites the file with maximum compression. The result typically weighs 50 to 70% less and looks the same.
Transparency is fully preserved, so logos and icons keep their clean edges on any background. For photographs, JPG or WEBP will always give smaller files than PNG.
Professional conversion engines keep fonts, layouts, tables and images exactly where they belong.
HTTPS encryption, automatic deletion after 1 hour(s) and a button to delete your files immediately.
